No meeting planned
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 10 No meeting was planned to consider support for Christchurch firemen, said the secretary of the Auckland and North Shore Firemen’s Union (Mr A. W. Monk) this evening. “They have gone back to work. There is no need to consider support action,” he said. • An executive meeting of the Auckland union will tomorrow consider a report from Mr Monk on proposals for a national fire brigade.
