DEATH IN FIRE
(N.Z. Press Association) DANNEVIRKE, January 10. A young shepherd was burned to death when the shepherds’ quarters at Pongaroa which he was occupying with another man burned to the ground early this morning. He was Wayne Paul Maxwell, aged 19, of Pongaroa.
. The other man who was sleeping in the building escaped unharmed.
