Cyclone hits Bangladesh

The 90 mile-an-hour winds! and 10ft tidal waves battered; the coast yesterday, severely { damaging the ’ famine-! wracked country’s precarious! rice crop.
Initial reports said that at •least five people died in the storm, which submerged lowi lying coastal areas near the port of Chittagong and offshore islands*
