As the only- team in. the leading division to achieve the maximum o< four wins on Saturday, Spreydon now leads the Four - fours inter - club bowls competition.
The eight points it scored against Burwood II took Spreydon’s total to 27, one point ahead of Sumner, Barrington, and Fendalton 11. each of which! gain six points on Saturday. Sumner’s opponent was the previous leader. Christchurch, which now has 24 points. Another team close up before Saturday. Elmwood I, slipped back when it was beaten, three games to one. by Shirley 11. While positions changed in the Four-fours. Moon Hay W.M.C. had little difficulty holding its place at the top of the Manning Cup table Hoon Hay’s single entry beat Papanui 50-25.
