After three days of trials, the Central Districts cricket selectors named the following side to play Northern Districts in the Motor Corporation knock-out match on December 1 at Hamilton:— 1. Snook (captain), D. Payton, G. Edwards, R. Pierce, W. Burtt, D. Neal. R. Ellis, L. Cairns, I. Wheeler, D. O’Sullivan, A. Jordan. R. Brown is twelfth man.
