Ipswich now heads soccer
(N. Z. P. A .-Reuter—Copy rig ht) LONDON. Ipswich Town climbed to the top of the English soccer first division on Saturday when it set the pattern for high-scoring matches by hammering Coventry City, 4-0. Ipswich was spearheaded by three goals from D. Johhson, and could even afford to miss a first-half penalty. But the East Anglian club will need to work hard to stay in the lead. It occupies the top posi-
tion only on goal average, Liverpool, Everton and Manchester City all matching its total of 22 points. Arsenal maintained its revival with a 3-1 win over Derby County.
