‘Blood flowing within year’

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 17. Another supporter of j Major Willcox’s organisation, a former regiImental sergeant-major, I Mr T. R. Mcllroy, of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. in the | Middle East, predicts that “within 12 months i blood will be flowing idown the streets of Auckland.” He bases his prediction on his belief that "it is only a matter of time before a bad slump hits this country. "Who will be the first to go?” he asked. "The Maoris and Islanders —about 42,000 of them roaming the streets. Then the Left-wing radicals will be in there stirring up the mud. Within 12 months blood will be flowing down the streets of Auckland.” It was in this type of situa-

tion he saw his force being used as a back-up for the police. There was a precedent, in the depression of the thirties, when young farmers on horseback and armed with pick-handles helped put down riots in Queen Street. Mr Mcllroy said there would be no uniforms and no training; the group’s members would rely on the training they received in the forces.

Mr Mcllroy, a retired accountant who helps- out at the British Israel World Federation offices, said he saw a real threat of infiltration by Left-wing radicals and Communists.

“The university is a hot bed of them,” he said. “A lot of professors and lecturers are Communists, although most wouldn’t say it, but I’ve got a list of them. They go as teachers to our schools and brainwash our children. “The churches have been infiltrated through the World Council of Churches. I’ve got the evidence,” he said. 1
