Readers pick United men
Three members of the Christchurch United club have been included in the “New Zealand team” selected by readers of the national magazine. “Soccer News.” They are K. France, B. Hardman and S. Sumner.
In its November edition, the magazine publishes the results of its annual poll to find a Readers’ XI based on 1974 performances. The team they selected is:— S. Davie (North Shore); M. Tillotson (Stop Out), France, S. Malcolmson (WellingtonDiamond United), R. Armstrong (Mount Wellington); B. Turner (Mount Wellington), Hardman. R. Veall (Gisborne City). I. Ormond (Blockhouse Bay), J. Richardson (Wellington City), Sumner.
