Copper stockpile
The world’s four major copper-exporting countries — Chile, Peru, Zambia and Zaire — have agreed to take joint action to defend the price of the copper, which has dropped by more than 50 per cent since the beginning of the year. The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries has denied that it will help finance a, i stockpile of copper. — Lima, 'October 31.
