The match, the Benson and Hedges Davis Cup interna, tional, will be played iq Auckland on November 30, December 1 and 2, against the winner of matches involving South Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea and Taiwan. The squad, chosen by Messrs R. B. Brown, J H. Lockington and F. Scarlett, and announced last evening jby the chairman of the national executive (Mr I. D. Wells) is, in alphabetical order. — B. E. Fairlie, R. J. Healev, P. Langsford, C. Lewis, G. Olliver, O. Parun, D. A. Parun, J. G. Simpson, R. J. Simpson, G. J. Slater. The selection of the team for the tie in Auckland will be left to the non-playing captain (Mr J. E. Robson). The members of the squad are expected to assemble in Auckland on November 26 for a concentrated period of training before the cup match. “Qantas Airways has linked with the New Zealand Association in becoming a co-sponsor of the Davis Cup campaign,” Mr Wells said. “This strengthens the link between the association and the airline, which was first forged by the Qantas New Zealand junior championships.”
