(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct 22. The Government’s economic package would be the subject of a special debate in Parliament tomorrow night, said the Prime Minister (Mr Rowling) tonight. The package will be announced by Mr Rowling tomorrow morning when he addresses a seminar in Wellington of businessmen. manufacturers, employers, trade-union-ists, and other community representatives. The Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Tizard) had previously announced that the economic debate would begin tomorrow afternoon. Mr Rowling said the debate would begin at 7.30 p.m. and continue until the House adjourned at midnight. It would be opened by Mr Tizard, who would move a Government adjournment motion. Mr Rowling would take part later in the evening.

The Prime Minister returned to New Zealand this afternoon after attending the Niue Independence Day celebrations. He called at Fiji on his way home for talks with New Zealand High Commission staff.
