Tug Lyttelton cruises again

The tug Lyttelton, which was restored last year, has resumed its pleasure cruises around Lyttelton Harbour. , The 67-year-old vessel is run by the Tug Lyttelton Preservation Society, which was formed in June last year to save the tug from being scrapped. During the winter months, the tug was painted and prepared for the summer cruising season. She carried about 4000 passengers last year and paid her way financially. The tug will make two trips on Sundays, at 2 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. She win be available for charter at other times, including evenings. # $ >9 ARRIVALS Coastal Trader (7.28 a.m), 2499, Auckland.
