I Replying to a Parliament-; ; ary question by Mr J B. 801, , ( ger (Nat., King Country), Mr II Tizard said that the 568 • helped were estimated to be 11 about a third of the firstfarm purchases in the year I ended March, 1974. Last year, 613 farmers had been granted farm purchase ! loans amounting to s2lm. This compared with 524 .'farmers and sl6m in 1972-73, ■ 4 9 3 and $10.4m in 1971-72, I and 367 and $9.9m in -.1970-71.
