Conservation contest
The prize-giving ceremony for a conservation competition run by the Summit Road Scenic Society in conjunction with the Canterbury Savings Bank was held at Manning Intermediate school, Hoon Hay Road, yesterday. Prize-winners were: First prize (§2O Canterbury Savings Bank account): Elizabeth Thomson, Roberta Drive. Christchurch 2. Second prize ($lO C.S.B. account): Daniel Hill, Leicester Street. Christchurch 2. Third prize (§5 C.S.B. account): Nicola Newton. Hoon Hay Road, Christchurch 2. A special prize for neatness ($2 C.S.B. account) was awarded to Hayley Stewart, Sparks Road. Christchurch 2.
