Reporting; to the Divisional Management Accountant, the Works Accountant is responsible for the Divistonal Costing Function which comprises evaluating profitability of new products, appraising, retising and issuing Company Standards, management reporting, negotiating export and local prices, and investigating production cost variances against standard. Much of the detailed costing is carried out at Branch levef but the Divisional Works Accountant has over all responsibility and he would be expected to frrvestigate and recommend improvements to existing systems. The position calls for a qualified accountant, preferably vxritfh cost accounting experience in industry. Experience with computerised accounting systems would be of definite advantage Preferred age-is 25-30 years but this is flexible. Salary wall be negotiated and wil) be related to qualifications and experience.
