S.F.M. plans 1:2 bonus

A doubling of capital and a bonus issue of shares will be recommended to shareholders of the Southland Frozen Meat and Produce Export Company, Ltd. The directors will propose that authorised capital be increased from $lO million to $2O million and that a one-for-two bonus issue be made, exbonus November 14. There was no suggestion that the rate of last year’s dividend would apply to the increased capital. Mr J. C. Scandrett, who retires as general manager of the company from November 30. has been appointed to the board of directors as from December 1. Mr H. D. Irving will retire from the board.
