N.Z. team for world swimming
A New Zealand team will l attend the world swimming i championships in Cali. Co-! lombia, from July 18 to 271 next year. The New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association de-1 cided this at a meeting of itsl council last evening. The association had re-1 ceived an official invitation! from the championship or-; ganising committee, and its! executive recommended “maximum possible attendance and greater involvement” than New Zealand had at the last championships (a team of four) at Belgrade in September last year. Mr G. S. Brockett said that swimmers should know where they stood, arid he moved that New Zealand be represented at the championships.
