Two leading Christchurch riders, G. Sword and J. Penny, will compete as individuals in the transTasman international motocross meeting at Clear Water Estate, Queensland, on October 27. Sword, who recently won the South Island 250 c.c. miniature T.T. championship, will ride his new works replica RH2SO Suzuki. Penny has entered on the German 400 Maico which has served him well in recent seasons. A New Zealand team of five, including one Christchurch rider, L. Ross, has also entered for the meeting.
