Roads fund ‘misleading’
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. The Government’s announcement of an extra 12 per cent to be spent by the National Roads Board this year was misleading, the Opposition spokesman for reading, Mr W.' L. Young, said today. “At a time when the emphasis is on increasing efficiency and production, the Government should be concentrating its efforts far more on roading programmes,” he said.
