Canterbury Lucerne Seed Growers

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries this season is continuing the same programme as last year for the identification of Canterbury lucerne seed from areas on which bacterial wilt has not been found by paddock inspection and by subsequent testing of harvested seed. In order to allow the inspection of seed areas, growers are asked to notify the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries by October 14th of those areas which will be saved for seed in the coming season.
