A seven-bedroom house on [37 perches at 94 Retreat Road, Avonside. was passed iin at auction on Wednesday at $32,250. Negotiations are (proceeding for the propertv which was formerly used as a men’s rest home. The Gov- ■ ernment valuation (1969) is $7900. The auctioneer was -Mr D. J. Visser, of Daniel J. i Visser. I About 11 acres of land at '677 Marshland Road was passed in at $32,000. Negotiations are proceeding for the property, which comprises 11 acres, one rood, 33.5 perches. It has a Government valuation (1971) of !$12,050. The auctioneer was Mr W. J. Knight, of Whittle, Knight, and Boatwood, Ltd. A weatherboard house on 1 42 perches of land at the corner of Davy and Cookson Streets, Kaiapbi, was passed in at auction but later sold for $17,000.
