New golf event

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. A major airline tournament, probably carrying between $30,000 and $40,000 in prize money, will replace the City of Auckland golf classic next year. Air New Zealand and National Airways Corporation are to sponsor the new event, which will be held in a different centre in 1976, when the City of Auckland tournament will return to its normal place on the circuit. The airline contest will continue to be moved to different centres until it is decided to return to Auckland. The inaugural tournament will probably be held at the Grange.
