The memorial to the late Prime Minister, Mr Kirk, would be a “living memorial” rather than one of bricks and mortar, the Prime ; Minister (Mr Rowling) said i today. The Labour Party caucus 'committee studying the memorial was fairly firm in its views that it should be a continuing one, Mr Rowling said. A possibility was the 'establishment of scholarships to bring Pacific Islanders to New Zealand.
