Service for handicapped
A church service for handicapped people will be held in Christchurch Cathedral on Sunday morn tag. Father Leo Close, front Dunedin, who is a paraplegic will be preaching, along with Rev. J. P. Edgar, also a para plegic, and the Mayoress (Mrs Alexia Pickering! will read a lesson. The service has been arranged by the Rev. M Underhill and the Coordinating Council for the Handicapped. Many handicapped and elderly people are expected to attend the service Special arrangements lor taking people to and from the church have been made, and people in wheelchairs can enter the cathedral through the west door
