These changes result from L the adoption by the city of a disposable bag rubbish col--7 lection service and a consequential reduction in the n number of collection vehicles [. The major changes are in s the central area inside the four avenues, where, as from e September 16, the new collection days will be on a block basis, as shown in the map on page 3 of Friday, September i 13. issue of “The Press.” There will be no change to collections within the inner central early morning collecr tion area. 5 > In the areas outside the four avenues, the only n changes are to parts of the present Monday and Tuesday *■ sector collections Refuse in the Opawa, St Martins and 1 Huntsbury areas bounded by and east of Raycroft and York Streets, along the Heathcote v River to Burnbrae Street and . then along the City/County -* boundary to the ChristchurchB Lyttelton railway line will now be collected on a Tuesday Instead of a Monday and *> a small area south of the Avon River and bounded by n Armagh Street, England .
