Captain Bell, which finished fourth in the Ranfurly Shield ; Handicap, was disqualified for ; galloping at the end of 200 m. ’ Portage was promoted to fourth. ; Trainers who failed to notify ’ drivers for legs of the T.A.B. double by 4 p.m. last Thursday, ■ were warned by the stipendiary - stewards.
