Cricket.— Officials elected at the annual general meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Umpires’ Association in Rotorua at the week-end were: president, Mr A. S. H. Cutler (Southland); vice-president, Mr R. W. Conway (Canterbury); secretary-treasurer, Mr R. L. Monteith (Wellington).
Netball.—A Blenheim team, Tokomaru, won the one-day South Island Maori tournament, held on Saturday at Blenheim.
