STEWART LEADS SCORING

The Marist and Canterbury B Rugby first fix eeighths, B. N. Stewart, looks set to head the individual points scorers in this season's inter-club matches. Stewart crept ahead of P. R. Jellvman two Saturdays ago', after the Linwood goal-kicker had experienced the incredibly bad luck of striking the uprights four times. Stewart now has 144 points, and Jellyman 138 — but Stewart is assured of at least one game more than Jelly man because Marist is in the D.C.L. Shield field. R. G. Wilson (Christchurch) has 137 points, and he is followed by the other four centurymakers, D. W. Stead (Belfast). W. Paulin (Shirley). R. Todd (Albion) and G. Stone (Suburbs).
