Tenders DUNEDIN CITY CORPORATION WATER TREATMENT STATION - MT GRAND. DUNEDIN ! MAIN CONTRACTORS are invited to register their I intention to tender for the above contract by pay- ‘ ing a deposit of $5O for the issue of contract documents when they become available towards the | end of August, 1974. The contract contains four main sections of work and these are as follows:— A. TREATMENT BUILDING: Comprising approximately 8000 square feet of floor area conI structed of concrete floors, reinforced masonry external walls, timber roof framing and long run trough roofing together with associated services. B. FILTER STRUCTURE: Comprising basically a svstem of connected reinforced concrete rectangular tanks with an approximate total ground slab area of 6500 square feet. C. CONTACT TANK: Comprising a circular prestressed concrete tank approximately 95 feet in diameter and 16 feet high. D. EXTERNAL PIPEWORK: Comprising a water detention pipe system and all associated water supply piping, drains, sewers and overflows, etc. The site for station is situated on hill slope to the west of Brockville housing area off Brinsdon Road which is off Dalziel Road. The contract is required to be completed within nine to twelve months from date of acceptance of tender. Documents will be issued on August 28. 1974, and tenders will close on Thursday. September 19. Deposit on documents will be refunded on receipt of a bona fide tender and the return of the documents. Registrations can be made at City Engineers Department, Municipal Chambers, P.O.
