The Broadcasting Amendment Bill, a private member's measure sponsored by Mr H. J. Walker (Nat.. Papanui), was introduced and read a first time. Three notices of motion were tabled. Ministers answered 15 questions. The House then debated Ministerial replies to previous questions for an hour.
During the evening the House continued with legislation.
