No collision inquiry

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 30. The Minister of Transport (Sir Basil Arthur) has decided not to order a formal inquiry into the collision bei tween the Korean fishing vessel St Pedro 51 and the Picton fishing boat Tory. ; The collision occurred in iCook Strait on June 10. The Minister said today he had studied reports of the investigation into the collision, and was satisfied that all relative maritime matters had been comprehensively covered. Possible civil action between the owners of the two vessels prevented him from commenting any further or publishing the results of the preliminary inquiry, said Sir Basil.
