(HZ PA StafJ Correspondent LONDON, July 16. The British will be going hungry before the end of the century unless families become smaller and more food is produced domestically, says a report just published. The work of two leading conservation groups. Friends of the Earth and Population Stabilisation, the report says food will become an important political weapon in world affairs. It quotes Mr Ismail Sabri Abdalla, the Egyptian Minister of State, as saying: “The real power of the future will not be nuclear, or even energy of any kind, but will belong to whoever possesses the sources of food.”

Britain, the world’s largest food importer, could find herself defenceless, says the report.
