Doctor on the court

WELLINGTON. Wanted, urgently, the leading tennis-playing doctor in New Zealand. Tennis medicos who think they might be “it” should apply immediately to the national association. The prize is a trip to France for the second world championships of tennis of practitioners, from August 5 to 11. The surprise request was received by mail by Mr D. Massam, secretary of the N.Z.L.T.A. It sought the address of “the practitioner who is the best tennis man in your country.” It offered an air ticket from the promoting body to the lucky practitioner “to come and face his colleagues of the world.”

The tournament is being played at Aix-en-Prov-ence.
