Five-tackle rule
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. The International Rugby League Board yesterday agreed *o a five-tackle limit for all future international matches. The agreement will start next year and will be used in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The decision brings uniformity in international play to the most vital rule in Rugby league. lAt present, two countries, Aus- : tralla and England, plav their ; International football under the i six-tackle count, while New [Zealand and France use the fourtackle rule.
