N.Z. design display

About 100 New Zealandmade products with the design mark awarded by the Industrial Design Council will be on display in a Christchurch store from July 30 to August 16. The design mark is given to locally made goods which reach standards of quality, appearance, and reliability set by the council. About 250 products have received the design mark since 1969. The Christchurch display will be held at Ballantyne’s store, and will feature furniture, souvenirs, toys, office equipment, and a jet boat.
