TV sets stolen

Two television sets were reported stolen in daylight burglaries from houses in Christchurch yesterday.

A 17in black and white television set, a transistor radio, and a stereo recordplayer, worth a total of $350, were stolen from a house in Worcester Street. A black and white television set was taken from a house in Fitzgerald Avenue. The theft was reported at 9.30 p.m. yesterday.

A colour television set valued at $Bl6 was stolen from the Students’ Union building at the University of Canterbury at Ham on Monday night.
