An elderly woman died in Waikato Hospital early to-: day from injuries suffered in a fire at her home yesterday. She was
May Kathleen Beatrice Robertson, aged 74, a widow. ; of Hinewai Street, Otorohanga. A police spokesman said l that the Otorohanga Volun- 1 !teer Fire Brigade was called: |out at 4.20 p.m. yesterday! :to Mrs Robertson’s home, land she was found inside; the building critically burnt.; |She w'as admitted to hospital.
Regulations. — Publication of the Government’s pricing regulations w'as prevented yesterday because of the 24hour stoppage called by the Wellington Trades Council. Printers at. the Government Printing Office had stopped work. The regulations will now be out early next week—(PA.)
