PRICE RISE IN COFFEE

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. The price of instant coffee made by W. Gregg and Company, Ltd, of Duhedin, will increase by about 10 per cent. The increase will take effect immediately. The increase is the first for more than two years. According to a statement today from the company’s head office in Dunedin, the

price of coffee beans had risen to record levels in recent months, and the increases, together with other higher costs associated with the importing and manufacturing of coffee products, have justified the increase.
