Price of sugar
Sir, —Promoters of a New Zealand sugar industry are in Wellington to argue their case. Because of movements in the world price of sugar, New Zealand would be better with its own supply. Unbelievable! What happened to the price of our meat and cheese and honey? As soon as >vorld prices rose, producers wanted us to pay the export price or else . . . . . . they left us short of supply and the price went anyway!—Yours etc.,
DOLORES SMALL. June 18, 1974.
