Maori XV named

The Canterbury Maoris’ Rugby team has high hopes of gaining the services of two All Blacks, R. W. Norton and W. K. Bush, and two Canterbury representatives, V. E. Stewart and T. W. Mitchell, for its game against the champion sub-union, Ellesmere, at Tai Tapu next Wednesday. As well, it is hoped that D. F. J. Hanna, a Canterbury A three-quarters last season, and H. J. Tangaere, who appeared for Otago as halfback, will also be in the side. As a prelude to this match, the Maori team will play Hurunui sub-union at Hawarden today. The team is:—
