VIEWERS’ VIEWS

WARWICK BURKE May I sincerely compliment Warwick Burke for the competent manner in which he has filled the role of front man on "The South Tonight” programme during the absence of Bryan Allpress and Rodney Bryant. The relaxed effortless style of Warwick’s delivery makes for easy viewing and listening, and the ever-lurking smile promises humour and diverse things in store. It is indeed gratifying to know that our own local programme on T.V. is so well endowed, with someone of Warwick’s calibre to take over this most looked-forward-to spot on the evening’s viewing. The closing pun after the Daniel Boone interview was a gem worthy of a high merit mark in the art of undprplay with the wry fade out providing just the right note to round off the session. Congratulations Warwick—stay with us! —L. E. Reid.
