Couple die in stream

(.N.Z Press Association) HAMILTON, June 17. A middle-aged couple were killed when their car plunged: into a swollen stream north of Taumarunui yesterday. They were Keith Martin Warp, aged 56,

and his wife. Kathleen Joyce Warn, of Manakau Road. Auckland.

Mr and Mrs Warn were travelling south when their, car crashed through a bridge and into a stream about 13 miles north of Taumarunui. The accident occurred about 10.30 a.m., but it was more than two hours before police and helpers were able to free the bodies from the submerged car.

Degree recognised.—Graduates from the University of Auckland School of Medicine would have their qualifications recognised in Britain, the University Council has been informed. A delegation from the Genera! Medical Council. London, visited the school this year.— (P.A.)
