COLTS SIDE Selections for tour
. (N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand under-21 Rugby team which will make a four-match tour in the North Island next month was announced yesterday. The team, to be known as the New Zealand Colts, was selected by the three-man New Zealand selection panel (Messrs J. J. Stewart, E. A. Watson, and J. W. Gleeson). Earlier it was announced that Mr Gleeson would bf manager-coach of the team. The itinerary la: July 3 v. Thames Valley at Te Aroha. July 6 v. Manawatu at Palmer ston North. July 10 v. Horowhenua at Levin. Jnly 13 v. Walrarapa-Bush at Masterton. The team is: Backs.—R. Wilson (Canterbury), P. King! (Counties). E. MacLcllan (Southland), W. Osborne (Wanganui), G. B. Ross (Waikato), G. J. Cook (West Coast), E. Dunn (Auckland), M. Romans (Otago), M. W. Donaldson (Manawatu). Forwards.—J. McLav (MidCanterbury). G. Elvin (Otago), P. Eggleton (Waikato), J. AUen (Auckland), J. K. Fleming (Wellington), J. Wootton (Wellington), M. J. Best (Marlborough), M. C. Hill (Thames Valley), M Cron (Canterbury), K. Bloxham (Otago), K. G. Sutherland (Marlborough). No captain has been appointed.
