Nobel idea

(N 7. Press Assn.—Copyright) TORONTO, June 17.

Developing nuclear weapons is as needless as re-inventing dynamite, the Prime Minister of Canada (Mr Trudeau) said yesterday. Observers interpreted his remark as an allusion to India's recent nuclear explosion, and the present French series of test blasts.

"We hold the view that there is no need for any country to develop a nuclear explosive.” Mr Trudeau said in an election speech. “None need divert resources from other needs any more than they need to re-invent dynaI mite.”
