A large, four-bedroom, split-level house at 3 Maydell Street, Ham, was passed in at auction yesterday after bidding reached $47,500. The property has a 1971 Government valuation of $21,800. [The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keen in, of Binns, Barber, and Keenan, Ltd.
A four-bedroom-split-level [house at 68 Malvern Street, St Albans, was sold at auction yesterday for $29,750. The 25.4-perch property has a 1969 Government valuation of $9lOO. The auctioneer was Mr C. R. Blackett, of Warwick Todd, Ltd. A three-bedroom house on a section of 40 perches at 435 Madras Street was sold at auction yesterday for $20,000. The property has a 1969 Government valuation of $6900. The auctioneer was Mr D. O. Chapman, of Ford and Hadfield, Ltd, in conjunction with Baker Brothers, Ltd. A four-bedroom house at 26 Euston Street, Riccarton, was sold at auction for $17,800. The property has a 1971 Government valuation of $5500. The auctioneer was Mr A. M. T. Sprott, of Whittle, Knight, and Boatwood, Ltd.
