Killer holds 40 hostage

SEOUL, May 20.
A soldier is holding 40 hostages at gunpoint in a tearoom in Seoul today after shooting dead a policeman and hijacking a bus. The man deserted his unit in eastern Seoul early today, taking two carbines and about 500 rounds of ammunition. .
