\Z Hrs* \\>n—C.npy right f KINSHASA, May 20 President Mobutu of Zaire has lined-up 48 people, described as assassins, during a political rally and announced that ail of them will hang. This follows a massive crackdown on violence in the capital Kinshasa. President Mobutu, addressing a 100.000 capacity crowd that gathered yesterday to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the foundation of the ruling Popular Movement of the Revo'ution. said that the police had arrested 501 gangsters Thev included several wanted, for armed robberv. he said. He added that most of those arrested who are not he out to death will serve forced 'ahour terms on re entiv-nationaiised farms Hr set no date for the executions.
