Mr K. F. McKeman will be the new Australian Trade Commissioner in Christchurch. He succeeds Mr A. R. Taysom, who is returning to Australia after five years. Mr McKeman was formerly his country’s trade commissioner in Hong Kong. He has also served in Stockholm, Canada, the Arabian Gulf, Rhodesia, and San Francisco. Aged 63. Mr McKernan Joined the Commonwealth Public Service in 1927. He is due in Christchurch on May 18 Mr McKernan is a keen I golfer.
