Woolston band wins again
t.V.Z. Press Association > DUNEDIN. The Skellerup-Woolston band took the New Zealand Brass Band Association’s championship cup on Saturday night.
The band won the own choice selection, contested in the Dunedin Town Hail on Saturday night, from eight other bands, with 148 points.
The Onslow Brass was placed second, with 147 points, and Invercargill Garrison was third, with 146 points. Skellerup-Woolston took first place in the championship aggregate with 296 points.
