Dogs starved
The Canterbury S.P.C.A. yesterday took charge, from a house in Sydenham, of the three starving dogs shown in the photograph below. The dogs, which were examined by a veterinary surgeon yesterday morning, were in extremely bad con-
ditlon. One may have to be destroyed. Mr D. Milne, the S.P.C.A. inspector, said it appeared to be a case of persons taking on the responsibility of keeping animals without fully realising what was involved in feeding and caring for them.
